Along the White Highway to Mont Blanc -- The washed-out sky, snow-capped peaks and a pine forest  in shadows pose quite a challenge for the electronic eye.  Technically, the digital camera "failed" this shot because the details of the forest are completely unrendered.  The stark foreground, in silhouette, does make a serendipitous point about the snow-capped granite peaks towering above them.
